The António Correia de Oliveira School Group organised a multiplier event with the aim of sharing some of the results of the Erasmus+ project ‘Climate Change Data Journalism’, in partnership with the Eco Schools project. It was an event aimed at the school community, attended by students, teachers and parents, as well as representatives of the Parents’ Association.
In order to showcase good practices and established partnerships, institutions such as the Rio Neiva Association, the Esposende City Council and the Esposende Environmental Centre were represented, linking their purpose in sharing knowledge and developing partnerships in the fight against climate change.
During this session, the activities implemented and the results of the project were presented. Two students from 8th grade presented their work, with the help of the ‘toolkit’ (a set of research tools and procedural content), explored in the classroom context, in order to develop an analytical and critical spirit in relation to our surroundings, complementing the national academic curriculum.
